Hot Bread

A new study has found that eating more fiber is not only good for your digestive system, but is also good for helping to keep your weight down

It showed that those who eat more fiber, weighed, on average, less than those that didn’t.

Fiber-rich foods tend to be more filling too, and as they’re often less processed, contain more vitamins and nutrients.

Some easy ways to get more fiber:

Eat oatmeal, brown rice, and whole wheat bread.

FDA Warns Coca-Cola over Diet Coke Plus Claims

The US Food and Drug Administration has warned the Coca-Cola company that it’s not appropriate to fortify snack foods with vitamins, and has asked the company to change its marketing plan.

Diet Coke Plus has been billed as a good source of B3, B6, B12, zinc, and magnesium.

At TGFC we do not advocate drinking soda of any kind , diet or otherwise, and do not share the view of the Coca-Cola Company.

What do you think? Is it a good idea to add vitamins and minerals to something that millions of people drink every day, whether the product is good for them or not?

Would it be a better idea to encorage consumers to drink more fresh fruit juices and water instead?

We welcome your comments.
