Parents are misled?

A survey carried out on behalf of the British Heart Foundation looked at how kids breakfast cereals and lunch meals were advertised to parents.

I guess I’m glad I was in another age as a kid. I was given oatmeal, shredded wheat, or Weetabix for breakafast most mornings, and took a Tupperware container with a sandwich inside. I did NOT get a bag of chips each day, or other processed products.

Parents these days are led to belive, by advertising, that the processed food snacks that are advertised are good for the kids, and that they are of great quality, and that you will be doing your kids some kind of favor by giving them these products, and by inference, you’re a bad parent if you don’t…
